The Arctic Forest Spa experience
Just 7 minutes from Rovaniemi town centre, Arctic Forest Spa is built around a simple idea: heat, cold, and forest, in that order.
The centrepiece is the Wave sauna a glass-walled sauna room with a 360° view over the surrounding pine forest, so a sauna rovaniemi session here feels less like a spa visit and more like sitting inside the landscape.
From the sauna, guests step straight out to the outdoor hot tubs, where the contrast between the hot water and the crisp Lapland air is the whole point of a Nordic spa lapland day.
This is one of the few spa rovaniemi venues designed around three distinct ways to experience it: a relaxed Daylight Spa & Lunch, the full 2-hour Arctic Spa session, or the Bathrobe Dinner, where the sauna and hot tub experience flows directly into a Hot Rock Grill dinner without guests needing to change out of their robes.
Whichever session is booked, the fireplace lounge is the place to slow down in between rounds of heat and cold a low-seated area with a working fireplace, dressing rooms, and a licensed bar.
What makes it different
- Forest-view Wave sauna with floor-to-ceiling glass on all sides no two sides of the room look the same, one of the standout arctic spa rovaniemi settings in Lapland.
- Outdoor lagoon pool and hot tubs, positioned to catch the forest view year-round, including snow season and midnight sun.
- A genuine bathrobe-to-table concept: the Bathrobe Dinner is one of the few Rovaniemi dining experiences where guests eat straight from the spa, still in robes.
- Open to non-residents — you don’t need to be staying at the rovaniemi spa hotel to book a spa in rovaniemi session here.
- A wellness retreat lapland option for both a quick day spa rovaniemi visit and a longer, full-evening plan.
- Private full takeover available for small groups and events.

- Swimwear is required in the sauna, hot tubs, and pool area bring your own, or one can be purchased on site if needed.
- Invisible Forest Lodge runs an adults-only (16+) policy across the resort, including the spa, during the winter aurora season (1 November – 15 March); outside that window the spa is open to all ages unless stated otherwise on the booking page.
